Hi, I'm Ethan

I am a mental health therapist licensed as an LCSW and I have additional training in trauma work (as a CCTP).

Life is hard.  No one should have to do it alone.  Some of us carry a lot from past trauma, some are overwhelmed with the pressures they are facing today, and others are weighed down by concerns of the future.  Where ever you are at, I'll meet you there.  I'll honor your courage to sit down and face your challenges with empathy and respect. 

Together we can find your path towards a more hopeful future.  I see people grow and heal all the time - that can be you too.  You can start to find your joy again, you can find your calm.  We all have resilience within us but it can be hard to find when we are trying to push through on our own.  We were meant to heal through relationships, not isolation.  I would be honored to provide the space and relationship for your healing.

Types of Therapy

Individual

Maybe you're depressed or anxious, dealing with grief or trauma.  Maybe you're going through some big changes or your relationships aren't what you wish they were.  Maybe you just need someone to talk to.  Where ever you are, what ever you need, I'm here to listen and support you.  Together we can find your way back to peace.

Couples

Over time relationships go through ups and downs.  Slowly disconnection can creep in and we feel like we are living a separate life.  If it feels like a minor problem now, couples therapy can help you and your partner learn to bridge the gap of disconnection before it gets too big.  If it's already a major problem, time to get to work.

Modalities

I practice in multiple different modalities (or ways I approach therapy) so that I am able to offer care that fits each client's unique circumstances.  My primary modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy.
